Hat-Making Tips-n-Tricks

Join our Derby hat specialists to learn how to make your own fully-decorated hat or fascinator!

Class will include:

• How to use
  • Crinoline
  • Netting
  • Flowers
  • Feathers (type and manipulation)
• Placement & Design
• How to attach components
• How to size a hat

Class will not include working with sinamay or sewing.

The $50 fee includes instruction only. Hats and supplies must be purchased at Dee’s before the class. Please take time to visit the store before class starts to make your selections. Class instruction will start promptly at 5:30pm (or 10:30am on Saturdays) and finish promptly at 7:30pm (or 12:30 on Saturdays)

Pre-registration is required. Please call Dee’s at 896-6755 to reserve your spot and pay over the phone via credit card. Or you can visit the store in person any time before the class and register with the cashier. Note: There are only 10 spaces available for each class, so register early, especially if you intend to come as a group.

If you pre-register and need to cancel for any reason, cancellation must occur no later than 24 hours before class start time in order to receive a refund of your fee.
